Kombucha is a naturally fermented tea that has been enjoyed for centuries for its refreshing taste and potential wellness benefits. Crafted by combining tea, sugar, and a live culture of bacteria and yeast (known as a SCOBY), kombucha undergoes a fermentation process that creates its signature tangy flavor and light effervescence.
